Hyatt Centric Park City

Park City, UT

This re-branding project transformed a mid-scale, nondescript timeshare project into a stunning, four-seasons, Lifestyle resort. Every facet of the resort was addressed, including all public areas, lobby, restaurant, bar, meeting spaces, ski valet, and guest villa units.

The design direction was taken from our in-depth research of the 1963 Ski Season that kicked off Park City’s transformation from a dormant mining town, into a vibrant year-round playground – literally a Treasure Mountain. Our design is inspired by Park City’s natural beauty in both summer and winter via a color palette embracing the ripe shades of spring, alongside cozy cold-weather textiles. Through dynamic design, the property emerges as a hip, unpretentious modern lodge. A spirit of fun translated through art and light is grounded in the familiar element of natural woods. The winding lines of ski trails appear in subtle patterns throughout peppered with 1960’s pieces that introduce cosmopolitan style to the mountains. Unique collected items spark the curiosity of even the most seasoned jet-setter. Personal touches such as sweater-like knits, throw pillows that look handmade and orange accents paying homage to the “Orange Bubble” ski lift weave in an element of warmth.
